Supporting Australia’s largest multi-sports carnival
As the largest multi-sports carnival in Australia, these bi-annual games showcase the talents of athletes in different regions of North Queensland. The Games have been successfully run since 1984, with Suncorp as the naming rights sponsor.
The 2008 Games were held in Townsville on April 11-14, providing an ideal opportunity for the Suncorp Townsville City Council Sunsafety partnership to help raise awareness of skin cancer and promote prevention behaviour during and after the Games.
