Michael Redfern

I have been working for Suncorp for the past 14 months. In this time I have been fortunate to have gained experience across a variety of business units from within the company, including Retail Banking, Strategy & Planning and Group Marketing.

I have worked closely and developed strong relationships with internal departments, external stakeholders, specialists from various fields and obviously my fellow team members.

Working with such a variety of people has created an environment which has allowed a number of skills and expertise to be passed directly onto me which has given me the ability to take on a large amount of responsibility with the knowledge that I have the ability to meet and exceed all expectations.

Within the next month I will be undertaking a new role as a member of the Suncorp Graduate Program (Group Marketing).  This program will allow me to undergo further extensive on the job training, working across all of the different areas of the Suncorp’s Group Marketing Department.

It is rare to find an organisation that offers so many fantastic opportunities for its staff members to develop skills whilst working in such a variety of business units. I have enjoyed all of the challenges that have been presented in my working life at Suncorp and the values held within the organisation assist in creating an environment which has allowed me to strive to meet my goals.
