Frank Gaske

After working for forty-one years with Queensland Rail, I was offered a redundancy in August 2005. After a five month break my daughter in-law Cathy (Cathy has worked for this great company for ten years) suggested I try for a job with Suncorp as there was a number of part-time positions available.

I submitted my resume and after assessment and interviews I was offered a 15hr per week part-time position as a Sales & Service Assistant at City Plaza Branch. With all the training that is provided by Suncorp, encouragement and guidance from my Branch Manager Eileen Facey , I now have progressed to full-time Business Banking Teller at the new Suncorp Brisbane Square branch.

I have been fortunate enough to work with a great team of people throughout the past 12 months who have also offered encouragement and assistance wherever needed. As I am a mature aged person I get great satisfaction in my position dealing with our customers both young and old and look forward to the challenges that my new position brings.

Since joining Suncorp it has changed my whole outlook on life and every day I look forward to coming to work. Everyday brings new challenges.

I would encourage anyone young or old if they are looking for a change of direction in their life to look no further than this great employer Suncorp.
