My role within Suncorp is as an Insurance Sales and Service Consultant. I applied for my position on the internet and was phoned two hours later by the very keen staff of Suncorp’s H.R department who requested that I participate in a phone interview. After proceeding through the interview, I was invited to the Suncorp assessment centre to undertake some preliminary testing. That afternoon I was employed by Suncorp.

The training prior to actually starting was excellent. I knew as soon as I was told I had four weeks training that I had joined a company that cared for the success of the employee. My managers and colleagues are all very supportive and I believe that they play the biggest part in shaping a career at Suncorp. Everyone is willing to help with a positive attitude, which is something that is not common in a lot of other working environments.

Suncorp is by far the best company I have ever worked for. I go to work each day feeling excited and leave each day feeling happy and satisfied. The environment plays a big part in this and as a result, all of the staff feel the same way that I do, which I believe spirals down from the top of the company.
